Privacy policy

Thank you for using the website of Hennschen Management Consulting!

We have compiled these statements for you to inform you about why, how and which personal data is collected on this website. And also about how this data is processed and what options you have as a user in this regard. We try to explain everything as simply and plausibly as possible in order to meet the requirements of the GDPR for a generally understandable form of data protection declaration: Since some processes are of a technical nature, some explanations are inevitably somewhat more technical.

We will be happy to answer your questions about our data protection guidelines:

Responsible in terms of the Basic Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other national data protection laws in member states as well as other data protection regulations is

When do we collect personal data?

Basically, you can surf through our pages without providing personal data. When we collect personal data, it is our serious concern to handle your personal data very carefully and confidentially and not to collect more data than absolutely necessary.

As a matter of principle, we collect and use personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our contents and services – in other words, if there is a legitimate interest. The collection and use of personal data of our users is regularly only carried out with the consent of the user. An exception is made in cases where prior consent cannot be obtained for factual reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.

How can personal data be collected via our website?

Directly

Mail contact

You can contact us via the e-mail address provided on the website. In this case your personal data transmitted with the e-mail will be stored. Please be aware that unencrypted e-mails sent via the Internet are not sufficiently protected against unauthorised access by third parties.

The processing of personal data via an e-mail contact serves us solely to process the contact and on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). This data will not be passed on without your consent and we will not use it for marketing purposes.

The transmitted data will remain stored by us until you revoke your consent. Or until you inform us that you wish to have it deleted or until the need for storage no longer exists. We will delete the data unless this is opposed by mandatory legal provisions such as retention periods.

Indirectly:

We receive technical information when you use our website. Nowadays, certain information is automatically generated and stored when you use Internet pages. On our website these are:

Log Files

When you visit our pages, your browser automatically transmits data to our system. This is information about the type of browser and the version used, the operating system, the Internet service provider, the anonymised IP address, the date and time of the user’s access. In addition, this also includes websites from which the user’s system accesses our website and websites that are accessed by the user’s system via our website.

The temporary storage of the IP address by the system is necessary to enable the website to be delivered to the user’s computer.
The data is stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. The IP addresses of the callers in the log files are deleted by our provider after 7 days.

The collection of the data for the provision of the website and the storage of the data in log files is mandatory for the operation of the website. There is therefore no possibility of objection on the part of the user.

Cookies

What are cookies?

Actually, cookies are (hopefully delicious) cookies – but in IT jargon they are small text files that are stored in or by the Internet browser on the user’s computer system. If a user calls up a website, a cookie can be stored on the user’s operating system. This cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that enables the browser to be uniquely identified when the website is called up again.

What are cookies used for with us?

Cookies enable the login and logout of, for example, our site administrator. For this purpose we use a purely technical session cookie without personal data – therefore we do not create any user profiles from it. It is deleted when the browser is closed.

If you do not like cookies

As a user, you have full control over the use of cookies. By changing the settings in your Internet browser, you can deactivate or restrict the transmission of cookies. Cookies already stored can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies for our website are deactivated, it is possible that not all functions of the website can be used to their full extent.

Analyze

We have the justified need to constantly improve our website and its user-friendliness. The processing of users’ personal data enables us to analyse the surfing behaviour of our website visitors. By evaluating the data obtained, we are able to compile information on the use of the individual components of our website. However, we do not use the data for profiling.

We use the host’s own analysis tool for analysis. The software runs exclusively on the servers of our website in Germany. The data is collected exclusively for statistical evaluation and technical optimization of the web offer.

We have compiled a list of the collected data for you:

  • Referrer (previously visited website)
  • Requested web page or file
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Device type used
  • Time of access
  • IP address in anonymous form (only used to determine the location of access)

Is anyone else listening?

GoogleMaps

To help you find us quickly, we have integrated GoogleMaps via an API. The provider of this service is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. When using GoogleMaps, external servers in the USA can be accessed. We do not know whether Google logs or continues to use this: However, we assume that data protection is carried out as described by Google at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

Social Media

Of course we are represented on SocialMedia portals: On our website we do not use plugins of the respective portals, but set simple links without any personal data from you. If you are logged into your own account from linkedin or Xing, your surfing behaviour can be directly assigned to your profiles by the respective portals. If you do not want this, you have to log out of your accounts.

In which case do we provide personal data?

For state authorities and law enforcement agencies, as long as there is a legal basis for this and it is proven.

And of course to yourself at any time, if you wish.

It is your right that you can obtain information free of charge about what information we have stored about you, where we get it from and how we have processed it. And also that it may be changed, blocked or deleted. In addition, you can object to consents already granted for data processing operations. To do so, please use the above-mentioned contact option.

You may also complain about us – but hopefully this will not happen:

If you believe that we have violated data protection laws, you are entitled to lodge a complaint against us.
As we are based in Schleswig-Holstein, the competent supervisory authority is the State Data Protection Commissioner of Schleswig-Holstein. You will find contact details in this list: https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html
